This section documents the actual UX flows currently implemented in the main OrcAI app.
Who This Is For
- People who chat with OrcAI using bots or direct model selection.
- People who curate reusable content and bot configurations.
- Workspace admins who manage users, groups, models, providers, and quotas.
Reading Path
If you are new to OrcAI, follow this order:
Chat
Start conversations, choose bots and models, attach sources, and tune per-chat behaviour.
Content library
Upload material, track processing, reprocess assets, and prepare sources for retrieval.
Bots and behaviour
Build reusable chat experiences with behaviour blocks and content collections.
Workspace setup
Prepare a workspace before inviting end users.
App Structure At A Glance
- The app requires authentication and an active organisation context.
- The sidebar is capability-aware: each management section appears only if your organisation permissions allow it.
- Chat is the primary workflow.
- Library is where reusable resources are managed:
- Bots
- Behaviour blocks
- Repositories (database blocks)
- Content items (assets)
- Administration is for tenant/workspace operations (users, groups, quotas, providers, models, organisations).
Important Notes
- The app supports draft and published states for bots and blocks.
- Resource-level sharing exists for assets, blocks, and bots via access dialogs.
- Some UI terms currently use British spelling (for example, Organisation, Behaviour).
