Workspace Administration

Manage members, groups, quotas, providers, models, and organisations.

The Administration area is capability-gated and appears under Your Workspace in the sidebar.

Only sections allowed by your organisation capabilities are shown.

For a practical setup sequence, use Workspace Setup For Admins.

Sections

Current administration sections in the app:

  • Users
  • Groups
  • Quotas
  • Providers
  • Models
  • Organisations

Users

Users is a paginated data table with sorting and table actions.

Primary actions:

  • Invite User
  • View Invitations

Invitation management has its own table page with export and actions.

Groups

Groups supports:

  • Search
  • Create custom groups
  • Edit and delete custom groups
  • Member management with explicit/implicit labels

System groups are immutable.

Quotas

Quotas are managed through Quota Pools.

The list page supports table operations and pool creation.

In chat, users may see remaining quota badges by pool name and metering mode.

TODO

Document the full quota model including reset periods, rollover, and assignment hierarchy.

Providers

Providers represent model backends/endpoints available to OrcAI.

The providers page supports listing, creation, and table actions.

Models

Models are managed separately from providers and can be filtered by provider.

Current models page features:

  • Search by model/provider text
  • Provider filter
  • Add Model
  • Discover Models

Chat Models

Note that for a model to appear in chat it requires at least the 'text' and 'tool-calling' capabilities.

Organisations

Organisations can be listed and created from the Organisations page.

Organisation switching for users happens in the select-organisation flow and user menu action.

Operational Guidance

  • Configure providers and models before onboarding large user groups.
  • Keep quotas aligned with model pricing and expected usage.
  • Use groups and grants to avoid manually maintaining per-user permissions.

TODO

Add recommended default capability profiles for small teams, classrooms, and enterprise pilots.
